Creamy Oats

This recipe offers a balance of whole grains from the oats, natural sweetness from the banana, and added nutrition from the yogurt and fruits. It's a comforting and wholesome meal for toddlers and moms. Just remember to adjust ingredient quantities based on the servings you need and watch out for the mess from the kids when eating.

Instructions

  1. Make sure you have all the ingredients that you will need ready. Boil water in a large pot. Once the water is boiling add the oats and stir and cover for about 5 minutes at the lowest temperature.

I prefer using the rolled oats for this recipe, note that the cooking time might differ for different oats.
  2. Once the oats are cooked add milk stir and let it simmer for 5-8 minutes at a low temperature with the lid on.

Make sure that the temperature is low to avoid burning the oats.
  3. Dish the oats and let them cool for about 5 minutes, once the oats are cool add the sliced banana and strawberries(or any fruits of your choice) and add some honey to enhance the flavors.

Please note that babies under 12 months are not allowed to have honey.

Note

Please note that I did not  use salt for this recipe.
